Total 74 students have been expelled for adopting unfair means in the 10th HSLC exams in the Hailakandi,Assam.
Total 74 students were expelled, 23 were expelled during their Social Science exam, 19 in General Mathematics, 15 in English, 13 in General Science and 4 in Assamese. Altogether, there were 620 absentees, Rajiv Kumar Jha, Inspector of Schools said
He also mentioned that the district administration has taken a number of initiatives to stop unfair ways in HSLC exams by forming flying squads, engaging supervising officers and imposing Section 144 Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC) within a 200-metre radius of the examination centres to prevent the assembling of five or more persons.
