Another accused in the mob lynching case of Sanatan Deka, a vegetable vendor, have been arrested by Hajo police.

Another accused in the mob lynching case of Sanatan Deka, a vegetable seller at Hajo in Kamrup district in Assam has been arrested. The accused has been identified as Abdul Jalil.

Earlier on monday police Arrested 2 main accused of the mob lynching case, Faizul Haque and Eyusuf Uddin Ahmed.

A court has sent all the three accused to 6-day police custody. On the other hand, two other accused—Firjahan Ali and Khabir Ali are still hiding.

Earlier on Sunday it was reported that a vegetable vendor named Sanatan Deka was allegedly beaten up to death by five men just because, Deka accidentally hit their car.

Sanatan Deka, who hailed from Tetelia village, earlier worked at a factory. After losing his job due to the nationwide lockdown, he started selling vegetables in his area.
