Former papsico CEO Indra Nooyi is nominated as as new World Bank president

Former Papsico CEO Indra Nooyi is is an IndianAmerican business executive is now considered as World Bank President by white house.

In August,2018 she step down as a PepsiCo CEO after serving 12 years.According to The New York Times,she “has been courted as an administration ally by Ivanka Trump, the President’s eldest daughter who is playing a role in the selection of a nominee.”

According to some people who are familiar with the process said that the decision-making process for nominating World Bank topmost position is “fluid and in its initial stages and early front-runners and candidates often fall off the radar, or withdraw from consideration before the president make his ultimate pick”.

Few days ago the current World Bank president Jim Yong-kim,states that he would step down in February from his post. Notably, Jim has stepped down from the designated position nearly three years before the actual end of his term.
