Kaziranga National park will remain open for 10 months
Kaziranga National Park in Assam will remain open for 10 months in a year after the COVID-19 pendemic is over.
Kaziranga National Park also reffered as heart of the Assam tourism industry, will remain open for 10 months in a year after the COVID-19 pendemic is over. The authorities of the national park have decided to keep it open to the tourists for 10 months of the year, informed P Sivakumar, director of Kaziranga National Park.
Sivakumar further said that Kaziranga will remain open from September to June every year. Earlier the park was kept open for eight months for the tourists. He stated that 313 hectare area has been added to the national park. The new area was recovered from the encroachers after an eviction drive was carried out four years ago.
