Recently,The sikkim hotels & Restaurants Association (SHRA) recently conducted a meeting of members in Gangtok where the dision has been taken.Every members of SHRA agreed not to continue business with Go-MMT until concerns over commissions and discounts, among others, were resolved.
SHRA States that,Hotels in the state have closed their inventory to the aggregator indefinitely from January 16 and have decided not to honour new bookings. Member-hotels also decided to terminate their contracts with Go-MMT immediately.
president of the SHRA Pema Lamta said that They will accommodate guests who have already been booked through Go-MMT even after the 16th, They do not want our guests to be harassed or inconvenienced.H e requested the guests to make payments directly to the hotel.
